WMF Silver Plated Pewter Racing Car Figural Inkstand Desk Set, Germany, Circa 1905. Modeled as a Mercedes chain-drive racing car with a driver and a riding mechanic. The hinged bonnet opens to reveal detachable stamp compartments, the hinged boot with a glass liner inkwell. Fronted with a cartouche shaped pen tray. Marked.
