Enameled porcelain polychrome box represents a fennec fox. Manufactured by Théodore Haviland Porcelain, model was created in 1921 by great Swiss sculptor Édouard-Marcel Sandoz (1888-1971). Signed E.M. SANDOZ sc, stamps Theodore Haviland Limoges, monograms of the sculptor and the editor on the reverse. Perfect condition. Bibliography: Félix Marcilhac, "Sandoz, figure and animal sculptor", Editions of the Amateur, Paris, 1993, variant of the model reproduced on page 364, under the number 597.
