- Lot Description
This 4 ½” h. beaker is made of seamed, not cast pewter. This is typical of early Beverly, MA pewterers. “E. SMITH” is marked on the outside bottom. (See Wolf #76) John Carl Thomas felt that this was part of a special order as so few have ever been found. This is the first we have had for sale. Condition of the metal and mark is mint. Price: $495 plus shipping
