- Lot Description
These are official copies of the Japanese surrender documents, as signed on board U.S.S. Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945. Eight pages in total, they have all the Japanese signatures with a space for the Emperor's stamp. Dimensions: (as folded) 14" x 10 1/2". Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $40.00 plus 1.5% replacement insurance cost.
Very good with small tear on each page and rust stain on the front page. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
