- Lot Description
A rare and possibly previously unrecorded Gestapo poster, serving both as a recruiting poster and a "Big Brother" type poster reminding people that the Gestapo were watching them. It is an image of a Gestapo undercover officer, with slouch hat pulled down on his forehead, and his badge showing. The poster is on newsprint, and is in excellent condition for its age. It has a distinctly "film noir" aura to it. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 50.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance.
Condition for age is excellent, showing minor yellowing, but very good condition, with a strong central image, and very minor wear to edges. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
