German Eagle for a gonfalon or "standard topper." An exceptionally fine and large eagle for topping a pre-WWII 3rd Reigh parade gonfalon banner or "standard topper." This is a piece of exceptional quality and artistry, depicting a life-like eagle perched on a swastika, just about to take flight. It is quite large, the eagle measuring 26 inches from wing tip to wing tip and 15 inches tall, including the socket. It appears to be made of silvered aluminum. This is almost certainly of pre-War production, most likely for the Luftwaffe. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $95.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Shipping is only in continental U.S. and information regarding shipping price is provided within the description of each lot. For international and larger items that we cannot ship in house, please take a look at our shipping contacts.
