- Lot Description
WWII B-15 cloth flight jacket, mouton collar, with 5th Air Force stenciled shoulder insignia, cloth CBI blood chit with faint CKS seal on the back and Australian made 22nd Bomb group patch. Intact specification label reads, "Specification No 3157 / size 38 / stock no. 8300-470705 / contract no. (30-053) A.C. 97/ Bann Clothing Co./ Property / Air Forces, U.S.Army". Property of a gentleman who enlisted at age 18 and served as a tail gunner in a B-24. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $40.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Scattered areas of wear with tears on sleeves near elbow areas and near cuffs. Few scattered stains. Tear above patch on left shoulder with areas of white discoloration. Some wear to interior of collar. Interior lining in very good condition. Please see photos.
