- Lot Description
8 pair of modern made US wings, along with a planchet from a US Navy Cross, a World War II era Aviation Cadet cap badge, some US rank and branch insignia, 2 large Pilots' wings made for display, a French Medaille Militaire without ribbon (good condition, some enamel loss) cloth wings from Canada, the Irish Republic, RAF, a number of Aviation badges from other countries including Romania, Hungary, Morocco, and Italy, and a Ceylon Air Force cap badge. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Condition varies from good to excellent. One pair of US wings is made of lead. Most of the modern US wings are base metal. Some of the foreign wings are extremely nice. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
