- Lot Description
A superb collection of primarily World War II bullion embroidered US Army Air Force cloth patches, along with a few USAF, and a frame of especially fine bullion embroidered wings, some of which are pre-World War II:
Frame 1 34 bullion embroidered wings, from the Army Air Corps, USAF and US Navy, including some that are clearly pre-World War II, such as an Airship wing (tarnished) on black wool, and several others. These wings are all of especially fine quality and detail, and are all excellent, although some have tarnished. There is also a very nice US Army Officer's peaked cap badge in the display.
Frame 2: 34 US Army Air Corps and USAF bullion embroidered patches, several clearly removed from uniforms, and a few showing appropriate wear, including 1 through 15th US Army Air Forces, 20th Air Force, Airborne Troop Carrier, (Latter 2 showing wear, and a variety of others including "Tech Rep," ROTC, and US Korea Command. Most are excellent, but some do show wear.
Frame 3: Bullion embroidered patches of all of the World War II Army Air Forces, along with 3 MAAT and a few other patches, some removed from uniforms, and showing appropriate wear, otherwise excellent.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 84.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
