- Lot Description
An amazing set in its original chest, of an officers' mess set with plates, platters, cups, and bowls. The plates, platters, cups, and bowls are all in grey enameled tinware with black rims. The knives, forks, and spoons are mixed, seven soup spoons being marked "USN," but all apparently silver or chrome plated. There are eight knives, seven soup spoons, two teaspoons, six forks, eight sandwich plates, nine dinner plates, four soup bowls, ten cups, and a covered sugar bowl. Dimensions: 14" x 17 3/4" x 13 1/2". Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $120.00 plus 1.5% replacement insurance cost.
