Two framed Harry Fonseca (California, 1946-2006) acrylic on paper paintings depicting his coyotes. Monochromatic mixed media is signed upper left and dated 11-20-78 (sight: 12.25"h x 9"w). Polychrome painting is signed mid left margin and dated 2-25-76 (sight: 14"h x 10.12"w). Fonseca studied under Frank LaPena at Sacramento State University where he developed his art reflecting his Maidu heritage. He is best known for his Coyote, the trickster, who he places in non traditional settings. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
