Framed oil on canvas depiction of a waterfall in Yosemite by Thomas Hill (1829-1908). Signed, "T. Hill" lower right. Dimensions: (canvas) 18.75"h x 14"w; (framed) 24.75"h x 20"w. Thomas Hill immigrated from England in 1844, studying art in Philadelphia and living in Taunton, MA as well as San Francisco. He was one of the foremost 19th c landscape painters with Yosemite and the Grand Canyon being some of his favorite subjects. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $68.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
