- Lot Description
Classic Texas longhorn armchair with a lynx fur seat covering and glass ball casters on each of the four feet. Specific details about the chair, particularly the placement of the horns, suggest that it was made by Charles Puppe of San Antonio, Texas sometime during the late 19th century. This item includes the chair's provenance and some informational documents about the style of longhorn chair, made most popular in the late 19th century by Wenzel Friedrich, also of San Antonio.
