- Lot Description
Empire Express toy of the Spirit of St. Louis airplane in sheet metal. A large brightly colored toy in red and silver, with U.S insignia on the wings. Red, white and blue stripes on the rubber. This was made in the U.S. in the 1920's. Dimensions: 18"h x 19"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $62.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Very good overall, with minor losses to the paint. The noise-making ratchet on the wheels no longer works. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
