- Lot Description
An extremely nice small miguelet lock flintlock pocket pistol. Eoth gold inlay on the barrel, a very ornate lock, and a cannon turned barrel. The trigger guard is steel, attached to brass mounts elsewhere on the pistol. The barrel has faint gold inlays on the octagonal breech, while the muzzle is cannon turned. The mounts are nailed on. The mounts are nicely done, with handsome engraving on all mounts. Dimensions: 7.25 inches overall, with a 3.5 inch barrel. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance
The steel is bright and clean. The pistol overall is extremely nice, although the lock does not hold on full cock, and the trigger guard is loose.
