- Lot Description
Set of six George Nakashima "New" side chairs. Pencil marked on base, "Maylath". Dimensions: 35.75"h. Provenance: by direct family descent from original New Jersey purchase. Nakashima was an influential 20th century furniture craftsman and was one of the founders of the American Craft Movement. Please note we do not accept credit cards. Buyer must arrange shipping.
Some weather damage but have been conserved. One chair is missing spindle cap. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
