54 piece Schulz & Fischer (1863-1900) sterling silver monogrammed flatware, Wheat Engraved pattern comprising 12 place spoons, 10 teaspoons, 2 teaspoons (different monogram), 12 forks, 12 knives (plastic handle, marked Meriden Cutlery), 1 butter knife, 2 serving spoons, 1 punch ladle, 1 gravy ladle and 1 mustard ladle. Flatware marked, "Sterling Schulz & Fischer San Francisco."All contained within a red silk and velvet lined case. Printed on interior, "Mr & Mrs Louis Wallerstein / with hearty congratulations / from / Mr. & Mrs. H.L. Cohen & Family / San Francisco Sept. 7th 1884." Weighable silver: 64.3 ozt. Case dimensions: 8.25"h x 19.25"w x 14"d. Provenance: Edwin Iloff Silver Collection, Sacramento, California. Receipt, "LaSalle Auction Gallery", San Francisco, dated January 26, 2999 for $3,580.50. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $75.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Flatware in very good condition. Case has some wear, fraying, and tears consistent with age and use.
