- Lot Description
British World War I silver British War Medal and 2 Victory Medals to Flight Lieutenant F. A. Flynn, who joined the North Rhodesian Mounted Rifles in 1915, but transferred into the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 along with Royal Flying Cops cap badge, pair of collar badges, rank pips, and buttons attributed to him, all excellent; a pair of RFC cloth shoulder titles, and an RFC cloth wing with wreath in green, very good; 23 Royal Air Force "sweetheart" pins with King's crowns, and 2 RAF and 2 Fleet Air Arm "sweetheart" wings with Queen's crowns. Also, a single bi-metallic cap badge of the Manchester Regiment.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 48.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Condition
All VG to excellent. Flynn's second Victory medal has no ribbon, but ribbon can be supplied on request. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
