- Lot Description
US Model 1858 Remington Army Revolver, Martially Marked. A very nice and well-marked Model 1858 Remington Army Revolver, with clear US Government marks on the grips and other parts. Serial number is 126804. The gun is clean, with sharp corners, and very nice stamps, and the action is crisp. Dimensions: 14.5 inches long overall, with the barrel being 8 inches. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Very good condition overall, with no blue remaining. There is staining and some very light pitting in places, but the gun is clean and tight overall. The grips are nice, with a clear cartouche on the left grip. There is also a dent on the same grip. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
