Six pieces of railroad track. One, with impressed "A.F. Terrenoire 71" bears plaque stating it was made for the Central Pacific Railroad by the A.F. Terrenoire Co. France, shipped to San Francisco and was the first steel rail laid by CPRR. Another rail bears plaque stating it was from the Sacramento Placer & Nevada Railroad and was made by Rensselaer Iron Co. in 1859 for T.D. Judah. Provenance: Graves Estate. All proceeds from this sale to benefit Placer SPCA. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $100.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
