Hand carved, hand painted with earth-tones. Brown and tan, speckled feathers. Spider painted on underside of left foot. The Hochani is believed to have originated from the Rio Grande Pueblos. Hopi legend claims he was originally a Hopi who moved to the Rio Grande and returned.Ì_
