- Lot Description
A very nice Imperial German Prussian Enlisted man's "ersatz" spiked helmet, the body being made of green compressed felt, with tombac brass mounts, leather chinstrap and liner, but missing the cockades. The liner has a name and unit written in it: "A. Scholz, I Komp. 5 ABI." Overall condition is very good plus, with very nice leather liner and chinstrap, and a nice patina to the brass.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 40.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Condition
Very good plus: there is a tear to the rear visor that has apparently been field repaired with brown thread. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
