- Lot Description
Unframed oil on board, "The Lunch Break" by Michael Kashalos (1885-1974). Signed lower left. Bears label verso with title. Dimensions: 25"h x 34"w. Provenance: Exhibited at Commonwealth Institute Art Gallery, London, 1967. In Cypress the government used to take one-tenth of the harvest. The painting depicts the official stamping sacks. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Scattered surface wear, greatest at upper edge. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
