This is a lovely example of Navajo artistry. The staff is embellished with beads and hand-stitched leather cover, with leather hanging strap. Decorated with fur, and beaded leather tassels with feathers and horse hair. Tomahawks were used for territorial defense and hunting. When not used they are prominently displayed in the home for protection from potential evil forces.Ì_
