- Lot Description
Unframed Margit de Corini (1897-1982) oil on canvas painting depicting an urban night scene with two figures. Signed lower right. Canvas bears illegible stamp verso. Dimensions: 16.12"h x 13"w. De Corini was a 20th century painter in Hungary and New York known for her paintings and lithography. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Unframed with raw edges on canvas. Some cracking to paint surface over buildings on left and minor wear at edges of stretcher bars. Under UV examination, there appears to be inpainting in the sky area over the buildings. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
