- Lot Description
Framed Maija Peeples-Bright (Latvia/California, 20th c) mixed media, "Quail Queens, 1976". Signed and dated lower right. Overall dimensions: 36"h x 28.5"w. Peeples-Bright was born in Latvia but moved to California as a child. She studied at UC Davis first in mathematics then switching to the Art Dept. There she studied under Robert Arneson, Wayne Thiebaud and William Wiley. She was active in the Funk Art movement exhibiting at the Candy Store Gallery. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
