- Lot Description
Framed Luigi Kasimir (Austro-Hungarian, 1881-1962) colored etching, "Wawona Mariposa Grove". Signed lower center (estate signed). Titled and dated (March 1931) in the plate lower left. Bears "Frame Factory" label verso. Dimensions: (sight) 18"h x 12.5"w; (overall) 29"h x 23"w. Kasimir studied at the Vienna Academy of Art and pioneered the process of color etchings. He traveled and produced artwork in Europe as well as the United States. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $68.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Etching appears in very good condition. Minor wear to frame. Did not examine out of frame.
