Lindbergh signed Australian 10 shilling note, with handwritten letter form mechanic who services Lindbergh's P-47 in the South Pacific on July 16, 1944. Wartime items from Lindbergh are scarce. While serving as a civilian Flight Instructor in World War II, he is known to have flown on several combat missions, shooting down two Japanese airplanes. The banknote is 5.5"h x 3"w. It is contained within the original owner;s letter in an 8.5"h x 11"w page holder. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
