Framed KPM porcelain plaque after Wagner depicting a sleeping cherub on a forest floor surrounded by roses and birds. Appears to be unsigned. Impressed verso, a scepter / KPM / 800 190 / h S on its side. Handwritten verso, "K.P.M. / (Royal Berlin) about 1826 / painted after Wagner / (sleeping cherub among roses)". Provenance: Viola Buckman, Sacramento, 1914-2005 thence by family descent. Dimensions: plaque 7.37"h x 9.75"w. Framed 11.5"h x 13.75"w.
