A very handsome and interesting Kentucky (Pennsylvania) rifle in .50 caliber, with an extremely heavy barrel, tiger striped stock, brass patch box, and single screw lock, with a drum conversion to the barrel. There are no visible marks on lock or barrel. There is some simple carving on the stock. It has double set triggers. All the mounts are nicely shaped brass. The barrel is octagonal, and there are parts of a more sophisticated rear sight, but part is missing. There is a serpent- like shape engraved in front of the rear sight. Dimensions: The barrel is 40 inches long. The gun overall is 55.5 inches in length. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance
