- Lot Description
A superb katana, beautifully mounted, with lacquered rayskin scabbard, handsomely pierced tsuba, and orginal kaku obi belt and sageo cord. Dimensions: 37.63 inches long overall. Blade is 27 inches from point tsuba. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance
Excellent Overall. The obi shows minor wear, and there is a light rust on he tsuba, but the blade is in excellent polish with a beautiful hamon. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
