Extremely rare and complete mine, grenade, and booby trap training kit made with inert captured Japanese ordnance for training US Army Engineers for the planned invasion of the Japanese Home Islands, dated 1944, in its original wooden crate, complete with all examples, including the extremely rare Japanese type 97 grenade, land mine with ceramic (hard to detect) body, and the original manual. A lucite cover has been added to protect the contents, which are all in excellent condition. The case is missing a small piece of one plank.
