James Fraser (1876-1953) rectangular bronze bas relief plaque of Theodore Roosevelt. At base, "Aggressive Fighting For / The Right is the Noblest / Sport the World Affords." Impressed upper right, "Fraser / 1920". Inscribed verso, "DecArtS". Decorative Arts League label affixed verso. Dimensions: 12.75"h x 10"w. James Fraser was a well known sculptor of the American West. He was formally trained and his first large public commission was a bust of Theodore Roosevelt. He was an assistant to Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
