- Lot Description
Frame 1: 16 full-sized Afghan wings in dark metal with gilt, and 12 cap sized wings, along with 3 shirt-sized wings, all clearly Afghan manufacture, with safety pin type attachments, many tarnished, but all very good to excellent; 5 Afghan Air Force cap badges of different patterns, showing the differences from independence, through Soviet rule, to the Republican government of today, all VG to excellent; 8 Pakistani Pilot's wings, 4 in bullion embroidery, 4 in padded , excellent; 10 Pakistani half-wings, 9 in bullion embroidery, and one in cloth, with letters for different specialties, such as Engineer, Navigator, Observer, Air Gunner, and Bombardier, all excellent, along with a very nice bullion embroidered Pakistan Air Force badge, excellent, a very handsome bullion embroidered officer's peaked cap badge with a snarling Tiger's face at the center, excellent; and a metallic enlisted Pakistan Air Force badge, VG+.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 48.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance.
Frame 2: Badges and wings of the Republic of India, including a bullion embroidered Indian Navy Pilot's badge, excellent; a cloth Indian Air Force pilot's wing, VG+; a bullion Indian Air Force wing, excellent; a tarnished bullion embroidered Indian Air Force wing, VG; a bullion embroidered Indian Navy Observer's badge, excellent; a bullion embroidered Indian Navy Flight Engineer's badge, excellent, a bullion Indian Air Force half-wing with an "S" in the center, excellent; a similar with an "O" in the center for Observer, 3 cloth half wings for Navigator, and 2 with "S" in the center, and a miniature similar with "O" for Observer, along with 2 brass enlisted Indian Air Force cap badges, a brass Officer;s badge ,and an Indian Air Training Corps badge from World War II, all excellent.
