Hopi Snow Kachina, "Nuvak'china" by Henry Shelton. Dimensions (overall): 12"h. Provenance: Purchased on Ebay from James Dickinson, Medina, NY. $290. 11/16/14.
This brightly colored Kachina is hand carved and painted by master Kachina artist, Henry Shelton. He is decorated with feathers, yarn and beads with the original cotton hanging string. Artist signature and title is written on underside of the base.
