Long-Hair polychrome kachina, "Angak-China" by Joseph Duwyenie (20th c). Duwyenie, carving in a family tradition, started carving in 1970 and has a distinctive style of carving the feathers and wings and likes to change the colors on each of his Kachinas. Signed on underside. Pencil notation of previous price. Dimensions: (overall) 10"h. Provenance: The Indian, Casper, WY, April 21, 2001 for $315.00.
