Hand carved and painted. Artist signature on underside of base (some wear). The Deer Kachina brings rain and prays for more deer for the Hopi. They have a very Rio Grande appearance. This Kachina should have antlers and feathers on head. This Kachina's antlers have been removed.Ì_
