Hand carved and hand painted from cottonwood root. Artist signature is carved on underside of base. Also on underside is a previous tag with item number and price of 990.00. The Kaisale are called the beautiful clowns as they are painted with colored stripes. This Kaisale is a mix of old and new with "Beach Boys" carved on the back of his numbered jersey. He wears a traditional headdress with unmatching shoes. He is playful yet deliberate in his expression and crouching in anticipation to swing a bat at an aimed target. The base is decorated with grass, a clown face and foot marks in an uneven ground.Ì_
