This Kachina is hand carved, hand painted and decorated with colored feathers and large white feathers as well as dyed hair (usually horse). The Broad-Faced Kachina guards the procession during the Bean Dance ceremony on the Second and Third Mesa. On the First Mesa he comes with the Soyako during the Powamu. Signed by artist on underside.Ì_
