Hand carved and hand painted, brightly colored Kachina with feathered headdress. Artist signature and title on underside of feet. The Momo makes appearances during the Mixed Dances and the night rituals of the Water Serpent Ceremony. Momos are usually represented in small Kachinas and are not usually this large. Larry David is the brother of carver Neil David Sr. Larry died in 2006.
