Hopi Bean Dance Kachina, "Powamu" by Bradford Phillips. Dimensions (overall): 8"h. Provenance: Purchased on Ebay from Michelle Ballard, Orlando, FL. $75. 09/12/14.Ì_
Hand carved and painted on cottonwood root. Artist signature, date ('85) and title on underside of base. The Powamu is always portrayed in a mask. It is the most important of the Kachinas in the Bean Dance.Ì_
