Hopi Assassin Fly Kachina, "Kokopelli" by unknown artist. Dimensions (overall): 11"h. Provenance: Purchased on Ebay from Jim McLellan, Missoula, MT. $83. 09/01/13.Ì_
Hand carved and painted on cottonwood root. Decorated with fabric, yarn and original cotton hanging string. This Kokopelli is believed to have been carved pre-1950. His excited posture is the style in which Kokopelli was carved before 19th century missionaries.
