Framed Herman Struck (1887-1954) oil on canvas painting, "The Deserted Barn" depicting a Tonalist style barn, cow and two solitary trees. Signed lower right, "Herman Struck". Bears unknown gallery label on frame verso and partial label on lower edge verso. Struck was born in Germany but moved to the United States. He worked in Oregon before moving to California, working in San Francisco. He worked for Sunset Magazine. He was primarily known for his simple landscapes. Dimensions: 24.25"h x 32.25"w; (overall) 28.75"h x 33.75"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
