Unframed oil on canvas, "The Donner Route" by Herb Mott (American, b. 1923) depicting a snow covered train engine emerging from a snowy tunner with the Sierras in the background. Signed and titled lower right and on canvas verso. Dimensions: 22"h x 30"w. Mott is best known for painting the covers of "Railroad Magazine" for which he painted 52 cover between 1949 to 1954. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $68.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
