"Voices of the Night" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882), 2nd edition, hardcover, published by John Owen, 1860 with handwritten letter, dated Jan. 7, 1880, affixed to second page reading, "Dear Charles, Some sudden and very disagreeable business prevents me from coming to you this evening as I hoped and expected. I am grieved and disappointed. I will explain more fully when I see you. Always affects, H.W.L." Also included, "The Poetical Works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow", Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Co, 1890. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $32.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
