Territory of Hawaii invitation/envelope to Lt and Mrs Anthony McAuliffe to meet President Franklin Roosevelt and Governor Poindexter at Washington Place, July 26, 1934. President Roosevelt was the first sitting President to visit Hawaii. In 1934, McAuliffe was an aide to General Gowan. Later McAuliffe became known as the acting Commander of the 101st Airborne Division at Bastogne, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, WWII. Dimensions: 5.25"h x 6.25"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
