Hand carved, hand painted. Decorated with yarn, leather and string. artist signature and title on underside of base. The name, Sikyachantaka, translates as, "Holding entrails in the mouth." It refers to the legend of a famine in the Hopi land in which a man killed his cow and fed the hungry Kachinas.Ì_
