- Lot Description
Framed Grace Hudson (1865-1937) sketch depicting a young Native American person with a basket in hand kneeling in tall grasses in front of a wooden structure. Signed lower right, "G.Hudron". Notated in pen verso, "X-25 sketched by Grace Hudson, authenticated by her nephew Mark A. Carpenter". Please note, after Hudson's death, her nephew authenticated many of her unsigned sketches. In order to differentiate those from ones signed during her lifetime, he signed them, "G. Hudron". Dimensions: (sight) 9.25"h x 7.25"w; (framed) 16"h x 13.75"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $40.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
