- Lot Description
Frame 1: 15 "de-Nazified" post-1957 Luftwaffe badges, being copies of 3rd Reich period badges with the swastikas removed, authorized for wear in uniform, all excellent, along with 2 post-War but 3rd Reich style Officer's peaked cap badges with no eagle or cockade; 6 German Parachute badges in metal of varying sizes, ranging from 4 1/8th inches across, down to 2 inches across, all excellent, 11 modern Luftwaffe flight badges for Air Crew, and Space Flight Technical Crew, all bullion embroidered, excellent; 2 pair of cloth shoulder straps, and 3 other patches, 2 of which are a pair of de-Nazified collar tabs for a high ranking officer., VG.
Frame 2: German post-World War II Luftwaffe cloth wings and patches, including 62 items total, 40 of which are variations on Parachute "Jump" wings, 5 of which have de-Nazified Fallschirmjager badges in the centers, the other 25 having stylized parachutes, 11 of which are bullion embroidered. The rest of the wings and badges include various Flight Specializations, including Flight Mechanic, and others that are not identified. All are VG+ to excellent.
