General Anthony McAuliffe scrapbook and photo album from his assignment to Japan in 1948-1949, including his daughter's U.S. Armed Forces identification card; 3 pieces of post-war Japanese currency; a 5cent U.S. Military Government piece of scrip, a number of scenic clippings and postcards from Japan; two letters addressed to his daughter Patricia. General Anthony McAuliffe was one of the Commanding officers at the Battle of the Bulge, Bastogne during World War II. He famously responded, "Nuts" to the German Army's offer to accept the Allies' surrender. 12.75" x 11.25". Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
